Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and  you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit/debit card payments through PROTX a secure payment service provider.  If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

If your item is not in stock, we can back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Cancellations

Should you wish to cancel an order you may do so by contacting us by phone or email. As we try to process orders as soon as possible it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being despatched. If your order has already been despatched you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy (below).

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of an item we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Returns

Items damaged in transit

If you take delivery of a package from us and the contents have been damaged in transit, we will exchange the damaged items without charge to you provided you return the damaged item(s) to us within 30 days of taking delivery.

Defective items

You have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time.

Incorrect Items

If we have sent you an incorrect item, please notify us as soon as possible and return the incorrect item to us and specify the correct details in writing. If you would like us to replace the incorrect item with the item you ordered we will send you the correct item as soon as possible. We will not charge you for the incorrect item and will reimburse your reasonable costs in returning it.

Costs

We will reimburse any reasonable costs you incur in returning the following items to us:

• items we delivered to you in error;

• items which were damaged upon delivery or are defective or incorrect;

• items which are substitutes for items originally ordered which we were unable to supply.

You will be responsible for the costs of returning items to us in all other circumstance

Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage.

Credit Card Security

Credit card security is provided by PROTX at their secure server. PROTX handle all credit card transactions for us. For info see www.protx.com

Shipping and Handling

Shipping is by Royal Mail First Class. Overseas orders are posted as small parcels. Shipping prices are based on those quoted by Royal Mail when we last checked. Orders are usually shipped on Mondays and Thursdays. We aim to have your goods delivered within 7 to 10 working days in the UK or 10 to 15 for overseas orders.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union,  17.5% VAT is added.  All other orders are VAT free.

Delivery to non-European countries may result in import duties on receipt of goods. You will be liable for these duties.

Privacy Policy

The Church do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Free Entry & Free Drink Cards/Flyers

By giving us your name and email address in return for free entry or a free drink, you are allowing us to contact you for future events and promotions.  The Church will not disclose this information to third parties.
